How does Fiverr works?

Fiverr is a catalog based business that offers service categories range from creating videos and graphics to making unique gifts to things that are simple awesome.

In order to sell something on Fiverr, you need to create a gig with the title of (example: “I will sell a logo for $5”) and post it on their website. You will only be notified when someone order for your service for $5 flat rate service. After your work done successfully and delivered to the buyer, you will be paid $4 into your account and $1 taken by Fiverr as fees for using their marketplace.

As a seller when you complete the work ordered by buyer, Fiverr will release your payment. Your client will then leave a rating for you according to your service. If you have provided best services in a timely manner then your client will leave a 5-star rating which would be very helpful for your service portfolio to get more work.

In Fiverr, as a buyer, you will pay to seller for small service fee. If you are not satisfied with work has been done, could ask for revision. You will be able to ask for a refund if your work not up to the mark. More than 70% buyer has satisfaction over seller. When your service has delivered to you and you can also leave a rating for seller and that ratings will be helpful for sellers to judge the credentials of the buyer.

What categories Fiverr offers?

Below is the categories from where you have to choose which service you need to be done:

  1. Graphic Design,
  2. Digital Marketing,
  3. Writing & Translation,
  4. Video Animation,
  5. Music & Audio,
  6. Programming & Tech,
  7. Business;
  8. Fun & Lifestyle.
  9. SEO & more.

You can buy or sell any service from the above categories.

What buyers and sellers says about Fiverr?

I have gone through online research and what I have found was amazing. More than 70% buyers are fully satisfied with Fiverr freelancing marketplace. Though more than 30% sellers was not satisfied because they have provided some comments where they’ve mentioned that Fiverr does not show seller ratings on buyer profile and they are showing so many reasons which did not recognized by Fiverr.

Is Fiverr safe or scam?

Many sellers have complained that Fiverr bans them because of violating its terms and conditions though Fiverr does not provide any details about the same reason.

Many buyers also have complained that after ordering for a service, sellers are not proving the work on time even some sellers are very unprofessional who does not provide the work as expected. As well buyers not getting any refund for the service which had no up to the mark.

Though such complaints do raise many doubts about Fiverr credibility, but it is certainly not a scam. Because people around the world earning their living from Fiverr without any complaints. Even I have got many positive response from other Fiverr sellers and buyers who are recommending that they are getting paid for the services they provide. They had no issues with the payment too.

Fiverr also known the favor for sellers in case of disputes out there from clients. This is because, if they offer you refund then Fiverr lose their 20% commission. Providing favor to sellers for many reasons does not proof Fiverr as scam.

As a seller, if you got banned in Fiverr, still you can withdraw your earnings after 90 days. Fiverr is certainly not a scam.

Conclusion

After reviewing Fiverr marketplace I highly recommend this to both seller and buyer; and can mark up this marketplace as secured and good place to make money as well purchase service. Also I am more confident with SEOClerks which has been very good for me in recent past.

If you’re a seller or buyer, one thing must remember before start working that there is certain policy which need to be taken care.
